Wear your Air. That’s the prompt from Nike Sportswear in advance of Air Max Day that’s set to go down on March 26th. One of the coolest yet promo pieces we’ve seen attached to the day is this gigantic shoebox installation that’s been spotted sitting out on the sidewalk in Shanghai. What’s inside? We’re not sure just yet, but hopefully that will be made clear when Wednesday arrives. Get another look after the break and then tell us in the comments what you’re wearing for this special day of Nike Air Max celebration.

就在明天！3/26 Nike “Air Max Day”！

3 月 26 日，見證歷史一刻。

這天，對很多人來說可能毫無意義，既不是誰生日、也沒有放假，並能不表甚麼。但在 1987 年前的這天，則對所有鞋迷來說相當重要。因為就在 27 年前的這天，Nike宣布了一雙跑鞋的誕生，一雙改變世界的跑鞋，Air Max 1 的誕生。

它顛覆了人們的想像。史無前例地，Air Max 1 將氣墊完全顯露；這讓人們可以直接體會、感受到氣墊的存在。因為 Air Max，掀起一波運動鞋工業的革命，永遠改寫跑鞋的設計走向。也因著初代 Air Max 1 的成功，接下來的每隔幾年，Nike 都會推出全新的 Air Max 款式。至今，從最初的一代、90、93、95、97，一直到 Air Max 360、Max Lunar90。不斷的創新、不停的復刻，Air Max 建立起一個龐大的體系，同時也聚集了為數不少的紛絲。

而為了紀念 3/26 這一天，Nike 也特別推出別注款 Air Max 1 “Air Max Day”。完全以首款 Air Max 1 配色為設計，著以螢光黃為創新亮點，並於鞋舌部分別上 “3.26” 字樣；在向經典以致敬之餘，也呈現當代工業技術與設計巧思。
