【劇情介紹】：

40個實習醫生為了一個家知名醫院（其實就是House那個醫院）的3個轉正名額進行無數輪的PK選秀，會是什麼樣的場景？如果你是House醫生，肯定也會讓這幫愣頭青上演一出血戰到底的真人秀吧？而且在被House老是修理一番後，他們會壓根就不知道“自尊”這個詞是啥意思～

艾美獎得主《豪斯醫生》第四季將在9月25日再度與美劇迷們見面，在本季中，由於有一票新人要競爭與House共事的機會，所以弄出了一個類似選秀的程序來考核競聘者們，甚至給他們編了號～（傳說中的超級醫生？）。 "本季中您將會看到典型的House風格的種種挖苦和刁難，除非具備《Survivor》中的角色那樣超人的心理和身體素質以及職業技能，恐怕很難有人能入House的法眼。”本季的執行製作人David Shore如是說。

本季花了超過8集以上的時間來讓有點神神叨叨的House來選秀（不知道有沒有點評環節），也就是說，他將會塑造一個又臭又硬的形象～。演員Peter Jacobson說(出演過The Starter Wife)，Peter Jacobson在本劇中扮演一個在Park Avenue上班的整形外科醫生，試圖尋找新的生命的意義。 "不過，在尋找生命意義的道路上，他也順道尋找一下辣妹。Hoho～” Jacobson補充道。

當然，作為選秀的結果，本劇中理所應當的出現了新角色。 Olivia Wilde (出演過The Black Donnellys)，在本劇中出演一個讓House搞不定的傢伙。

"他說“每週都會有新人被淘汰出局，大家都希望看到Ryan Seacrest（可能是美國的李湘，汪涵之類的吧？猜的～）在那煽情的喊'如果您支持13號選手，請編輯短信13，移動用戶發送倒～～聯通～～小靈通～～'（也不知道米國是什麼號碼啦！）"

製作人Shore還透露，其他的競聘者還有Kal Penn（出演過24）扮演的一個覺得“選秀“特酷的傻妞。還有，Edi Gathegi(出演過Lincoln Heights)，將在本劇中扮演一個黑人摩門教徒。

搞笑的是，在現實中的演員們為了出演本劇，成為House團隊（此處雙關）的一員，也是競爭激烈。 Shore說：“我們挑選了許多演員來試鏡，但是我們不能決定誰是最佳人選，最後我們決定採用選秀的方式，我們覺得House肯定會同意的。”

簡介：1959年6月11日生於英格蘭牛津市，先後在伊頓公學和劍橋大學接受教育，大學時主修人類學和考古學。父親是前奧運會雙人皮划艇冠軍，由於父親的關係，Hugh Laurie年輕時立志做一個優秀的皮划艇運動員，他本人也曾代表英格蘭國家隊參加過世界青年皮划艇比賽，並獲第四名，後來由於疾病的關係不得已放棄這一事業。 1978年時，他在大學參加劇團的時候遇到了艾瑪·湯普森，後者在演藝道路上給了他很大的幫助。 Hugh Laurie還是一位暢銷書作家，另外鋼琴非常優秀，還曾一度進行過潛水訓練。
