倫敦奧運今天(28日)正式開幕，而美國ABC電視台今天播出奧運男籃代表隊前鋒LeBron James的專訪，訪問中他呼應Kobe Bryant先前的發言，認為今年這支代表隊能夠擊敗有夢幻隊之稱的1992年美國男籃代表隊。

與先前Chris Paul的說法相同，James在接受《Nightline》節目主持人Cynthia McFadden專訪時表示，這是運動員最基本的競爭意識：「身為1個競爭者，你永遠不想說你會輸，不管你對上誰。」

因此James雖然表達了對1992年代表隊的敬意，但還是認為今年的這支球隊有能力擊敗他們：「92年夢幻隊為我們所有人鋪路……我們瞭解他們為這項賽事做出的貢獻，但我們也同樣都是真正的競爭者，所以如果我們有機會跟他們比賽，我們也覺得自己會贏。」

2週前Bryant被問到2支球隊對戰的問題時曾說：「這很難回答，但我認為我們能勝出。覺得我們打1場比賽沒機會贏的人都瘋了，坐在那裡說我們贏不了是很滑稽的事。」

這段話引起不少爭論，成為媒體與球迷談論的焦點。1992年夢幻隊成員Michael Jordan受訪時表示，他聽到Bryant的發言之後笑了：「比較這2支球隊對他來說不是聰明的事，」

2012 its called....... Not even named yet. Kobe should not make any comment until they win GOLD first. Confidence is a good thing but it would be embarassing to lose in the London Olympics. Before anything stop comparing.

I am 200% agree with u!
I agree a player need to think they can win
But do u think that a street ball guy just like me will win the NBA player
It just can be a dream
Also James want to win just a dream!

So why team one will call dream team one
