故事的舞台是一个面临财政困难并即将与邻市合并的城市——由芽市。这个曾经以“歌城”著称的繁华都市如今却陷入工厂相继倒闭的困境，昔日辉煌不再。
出生于由芽市的仓坂澪（天海祐希饰）在作为某剧团的音乐剧巨星大获成功之后，以进军百老汇为目标，独自奔赴纽约。然而，在这个竞争激烈的音乐剧世界，澪屡次碰壁，最后甚至失去了参加甄选的机会。此时，澪收到高中时代的恩师森香奈绘的邀请，决心担任妈妈合唱团——香颂合唱团的教练。tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb1 c5 n! I( c0 [" O" q$ f
