never heard of it. I lived in Penang before. I don't think it's near the beach. The reception looks pretty ordinary. They shoot most of the scene from the pool / restaurant area so I assume it's a 4 star type hotel. The rooms however look ok lor.

七樓樓主你好,很抱歉應該是Lone Pine hotel ,不是 Lone Pine Resort,兩家飯店是不同的

Lone Pine Hotel. 几年前我去过，是非常又旧又烂的酒店，是看都不开胃的酒店。最近翻新了，下次去住下。招牌和入口是非常小，路过是不显眼，不易看到的。地点是在Batu Feringgi靠近The Ship餐厅。

it was impossible to tour the twin towers and bacu cave and went back to stay in the same hotel in Penang afterwards, did they travel in helicopter?
