The name 悉尼 has been used as the official name for Sydney for at least six to seven years now, when pronounced in Mandare in, it's a much closer translation of Sydney compare to 雪梨 . Just like the name Beijing instead of Peking for 北京 in English. However, in a Chinese restaurants, if you try to order a Beijing Duck, the waiter wouldn't know what you are trying to order though. 公仔箱論壇! G* N1 `" Y6 N* a

Then there is the famous Sydney Opera House taken from the western side., L' {. C3 q4 k7 K+ Y0 ^" H* E4 g% I* M
Followed by two photos of the snow fields at Perisher Valley, not much snow yet, give it another 4 to 5 weeks, then it would be right into the skiing season.公仔箱論壇2 p+ R3 p7 j2 p/ g8 S: m: P2 M
Then there are the Bondi Beach, if you venture to the eastern side, well, there you will find a lot of women sunbaking topless; no fuss, as men do it all the time.# W9 q5 p) v5 _! F, r3 m
Then we are heading north toward central coast up, about an hour and a half drive from Sydney, we get to the a place call The Entrance, a really nice spot, the ranger feed the Pelicans twice a day, quite an interesting sight. Great fish and chips shops, cafes, and restaurants. Nice fishing spot too. 公仔箱論壇3 R3 r7 |, j/ n7 w G
Here we are back to Sydney at the St Andrew's Cathedral, an Anglican church next to the Sydney townhall.% }( `) `9 l# H k4 m5 i8 W
The last one is specially for the shopaholics. The renovated Queen Victoria Building, there used to be an up market Chinese restaurant inside, but it's now turned into another shop. A very nice shopping arcade.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb: h% A, n- o* {( G4 C: X4 d
