actually i m using acer..my model no. is aspire 5543.
itself got a program call e-power management.
i can configure the cpu speed in this program.
by default it is set to maximum performance & this performance makes my laptop auto shutdown while i m playing games like dota.
now i set the cpu speed to medium, now no more auto shutdown lor!!!

For laptop, if its temperature reach certain limits
1. ~90C, it will throttle, your laptop become very lag.
2. ~120C, it will trip, your laptop will shutdown.

continuously making your laptop hot will eventually damage the CPU. Try not to do extensive task with laptop.:onion05:
