United yet to pay for Champs League buses in Moscow

MOSCOW: Moscow’s transport authority says Manchester United still owe US$230,000 for buses used by their fans for the Champions League final.
Moscow Transit Authority spokeswoman Yekaterina Bostoyeva said on Friday that 425 buses were hired for the fans on the day of the May 21 final and two preceding days.
She said United’s opponents, Chelsea, had settled their debt of US$120,000 for 220 buses through travel companies.
United said the payment was due to go through this week and should reach Moscow next week. The Premier League club were surprised that the Transport Authority had spoken out.
