Brazil To Face Sweden At The Emirates
Brazil are to face Sweden in a friendly international in London on March 26, the Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) said on its Web site (cbfnews.uol.com.br).
The announcement was made by the Brazilian Football Confederation's official website. Brazil have played at the new stadium twice already, beating Argentina 3-0 and succumbing to a 2-0 defeat at the hands of Portugal.
They have not faced Sweden in over ten years, last meeting in 1995 during a tournament in England, on that occasion the Brazilians ran out 1-0 winners.
Brazil's first match of 2008 is a friendly away to Ireland on February 6. They do not begin their competitive fixtures until World Cup qualifiers in June against Paraguay and Argentina. |
