Thought I'd just 'voice' what I considered my favourite United moments.
I'm not talking TV but just the best moments I've had watching United home or away.
Feel free to call me an old git or offer your own...........
In no particular order..........
United V Barcelona 1984.
Beating Barcelona in the quarter-final of the cup winners cup might notsound that fancy to the younger people on here but that was an amazingnight. I was 14 in the Stretford end and like most folk ended up on thepitch. Robbo showed his class. There was big hype about Maradona. In1986 he proved his point.
United V Liverpool 1977
My first United Final. Say no more. FA cup winners and a happy little lad.
United V Everton 1985
The age of the football train - Jeez I remember the trip back. We all know the goal. "Whiteside Shoots"........
United V Barcelona 1991
Perhaps my most drunken United game. Memories flooded back to 84 butfor once I felt like we were not beating a better side but proving apoint. After the ban we were back !
United V Blackburn
The title at last - I'd waited as long as most folk but what a night. Contrived atmosphere but fun all the same.
