I think the other factor would be what do your friends use in general!

If you go lots of friends go with Canon, you should join them so that you can test out some lenses before buying your own.

In Canada.
Both brand is very good. Price more less is the same range.
But warranty is difference.
Canon come with one year warranty.
Nikon come with two year warranty on body and five year warranty one lenses.
You tell me which one you choose?

they are much the same though if yr u have friends using canon then u can share lenses with your friends

ps 帶備SD card 可即場記錄照片後回家用電腦比較自己對相機記下的照片感覺/色調
   但記住要同級數的來比較

Nikon 有很多天涯鏡可以選擇, Canon 比較少. 而且 Nikon 一些高級的 body 都有內置閃光燈, 可以用來作其他 Nikon 閃光燈作 Commandar. 所以我最後我把 Nikon D300s upgrade 到 D800
