Lakers will likely getting one of the top eight picks in the upcoming draft.  Hopefully a higher pick for better player.  The team gave up and played poorly for a reason.

Mike Dantoni will keeps his job until the end of the season but not sure about next season.

Even with Pau Gasol left, the team doesn't have much cap space because of Kobe Bryant contract.  Therefore, don't expect Kevin Love going to Lakers in 2015 unless the team willing to pay luxury tax.

The team management should force Steve Nash to retired because he is too old and unable to help the team.  However, Nash might not willing to retired because he needs the payroll as his Vancouver investments (Steve Nash Fitness World and Vancouver Whitecaps) probably need the Laker payroll to survive.   Another solution is just waive Nash's contract.
