It's very interesting to read your blog, lots of things to learn.
After reading your article regarding the gear box oil of BMW, I
am wondering should I follow the BMW advise to change the
enginee oil every 20,000 Km (or once a year) or I should change more
often.
I am using a 2008 X5 3.0si, got it at 2007 Dec with 20K KM so far,
but still did not change the oil yet..  Because everytime I went to
their service centre, they said 'not necessary".  Could you advise
your professional idea?

I changed my other Honda at every 8K but I thought I should
follow BMW's advise.... it proved it's a bad one.
