Illegal Gambling dens had been a great problem here around 20 years ago; they were all ran by organized crime gangs like the Triads; and most of the patrons were Asians., P3 V: i5 t& _" |+ w1 }$ q$ C
Ever since the proper casino opened, there is hardly any illegal gambling dens.tvb now,tvbnow,bttvb7 K( c$ d' c+ F/ `1 Q
So it might be worthwhile for the HK Government to consider to put out a tender to build a proper casino with top class entertainment venues, this may help to attract more tourists, stimulate local business; and close the doors of the illegal gambling too.
