 近期 Android 系統的聯合創辦人 Rich Miner 在其 Twitter 上介紹了具體的細節，還分享了真正全球第一款 Android 手機的渲染圖。# y0 y* q2 G& `: x. H
All along we were working on 2 phones, Sooner, more blackberry-like & Dream, touchscreen based. 渲染圖中可以看到，該裝置通體為黑色和霓虹色，整機結構與 HTC Dream 非常類似，都為橫向滑蓋設計，滑蓋下方為全尺寸物理鍵盤，鍵盤採用全霓虹色。
4 R) I+ _+ w0 M: z/ d; ? 由於渲染圖是理想狀態，所以 HTC Dream 因為各種原因無法完全採用渲染圖的設計。像是渲染圖中的點動輪變成了軌跡球；許多特定功能的按鍵被削減，減少至手機底部的五個按鈕。
( o4 y* R7 D' v* H, } HTC Dream根據 Miner 的爆料，瞭解到當時是在開發兩款手機，一款是類似 Blackberry 的裝置，代號為「Sooner」，另一款便是代號為「Dream」的手機。但在初代 iPhone 推出之後，捨棄了 Sooner 項目，集中精力開發 Dream 項目，最終推出第一款 Android 手機 HTC Dream。 |
