young animal can be imprinted with human or other animal. My own experience is a lot less dramatic. My two golden retriever raised a kitten. The cat identify itself with the dogs.
When the 2 golden passed away. The cat raise my puppy. He practically stand up against neighbour's golden to protect his little young sister puppy.
When we take the puppy out for a walk on the street. The cat follow us around and make sure we don't do anything to the dog. |
