Few questions:
the old drive was working well in your old computer?
the format of that old drive is IDE or something?
the external box maybe require two usb cables, for power supply and data transfer
try plug-in the old drive in the back panel of your computer, since the front panel of your new computer maybe occupied which provide inadequate power supply to all drive |
